The slaughter of animals at ALM is carried in strict accordance with Islamic rites. The Halal slaughter is carried out in a ritual slaughter boxby persons trained and selected by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, the approved Islamic body. An official of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind supervises and records all slaughtering at the plant. The Slaughter team is also responsible for selection of animals as per the guidelines for Halal slaughter.
